Hello fellow workers in the arts! I have been involved with the arts all my life, starting with working with my grandfather at the San Francisco opera house when I was 14. For 62 years I have been working in the arts and loving it. I started ROBERT FRIEDMAN PRESENTS 52 years ago, then Covid hit and basically retired all of us in the Performing Arts. On top of that my biggest client for 30 years was a Russian ballet, and then the war started, ending all touring. It seems that I was destined to take a break from producing tours and instead enjoy retirement. That said, I still welcome special projects with the special people I have worked with over the years, so stay in touch! Heartfelt thanks to the artists, presenters and everyone I have had the pleasure of working with throughout my life. Have a great season, ☮ Robert
Robert Friedman Presents
Atom String Quartet is one of the most intriguing string quartets in the world, and also one of best Polish jazz bands. The group combines the capabilities of a string quartet (i.e. two violins, viola and cello) with improvisation in its broad sense. The set of instruments of a chamber music ensemble, which is most classic and firmly established in music tradition, enables the artists to search for new sound and formal achievements. It is difficult to define, in an explicit way, the music style of the group. Its music output, besides jazz, shows sources of inspiration coming from Polish folk, music of various regions of the world, and also contemporary and classical music.

Angèle Dubeau & La Pietà is a string orchestra with piano, all top-ranking women musicians, among the best in the country.
The excellence, precision and strength of each one, as well as the closeness that they have with each other, grant them an exceptional ensemble sound and contribute to the communicative pleasure the orchestra imparts.
With her associates, Angèle Dubeau has travelled to South America and Asia, and several times throughout Canada and the United States. The members of this orchestra, thanks to the reputation they have acquired during their national and international tours, have become true ambassadors, whose success does us honor everywhere.
The Musical Art Quintet was formed in 2008 in the Mission district of San Francisco during chamber music jam sessions every Sunday night at Cafe Revolution. Each week a new piece of music was written by MAQ band leader Sascha Jacobsen to be performed at Classical Revolution, and ink still wet, we would read through the piece in front of a live audience. As our repertoire grew, a core group of players emerged and the quintet was founded.
